I’m Fin Stephens, a theatre sound operator and sound designer based in Cornwall with a passion for live theatre. I enjoy every stage of a production, from designing playback and preparing systems to supporting rehearsals and mixing live performances. I like making sure the sound is reliable and consistent, while working closely with the rest of the team to make each production the best it can be.
Through my work on productions at the Minack Theatre and other projects, I’m continuing to develop my skills and gain experience with every show. I’m always looking for opportunities to learn, work with new teams and take on exciting productions.
What I enjoy most about sound is that every show is different. There’s always something new to work out, whether that’s finding the right sound for a moment, programming a show or solving technical problems during rehearsals.
