SOUND APPROACH & GOALS
The main aim for the sound was to keep the vocals clear and consistent while maintaining the energy of the music and supporting the action on stage.
CLEAR VOCALS
With a large young cast, vocal clarity was a priority. The aim was to keep dialogue and singing clear and balanced throughout the performance.
MUSIC & VOCAL BALANCE
The mix needed to keep the energy of the music while making sure the cast remained clear and present, particularly during larger ensemble numbers.
CONSISTENCY
Keeping the sound consistent throughout the show was important, with levels and microphone changes managed so that the mix followed the action naturally.
